This new concept to skin care products was developed by Linda Meredith to address a new generation of skin problems. Researching what had caused those changes, it became very clear that in the last sixty years toxins were a major factor. Toxins come in many forms, some of which are invisible but surround our everyday lives and have had a dramatic effect on our skin.

Individual skin types no longer exist, they overlap. Oily, dry or a combination can all be seen on one clients skin. So how do we deal with the problems ?

It is important to understand that all of the products we use on our skin have a different molecular structure that will allow some products to absorb into the skin and some to remain on the surface. Topical products such as SPF’s and Foundation are important to protect the surface layers from environmental factors however products that absorb deeper are the key to beautiful skin.

Active ingredients are vital to target specific problems and the strict no paraben rule eliminates any unnecessary chemicals that will allow the product to work at its optimum level.

All of the LM products first and foremost were developed to hydrate the skin and by each of them having a different combination of key ingredients they also feed the skin. Our skin will look and feel different each day as our environment changes so choosing the right products is essential. The ageing process begins under the surface long before it is visible so using water based products that easily absorb help support the skins structure as well as letting us know how much to apply. When applying creams we think of our skin as being one layer when in fact it is made up of approximately twenty layers. If a cream completely absorbs it may require a second application to reach the surface.

The key to the best results is to alternate and overlap your products depending on how your skin looks and feels.
